Is there life out there?

Hello..? Is there life out there? I am single, early 40's in Singapore and I sit here alone in a flat that I own and like many Friday evenings past, I wonder if there is someone like me out there, also wondering if I was wondering about you... and the answer is yes. Am I talking to myself about myself? Haha! If I am, this is definitely not the first, nor is it likely to be the last time... Who am I and what do I like? I am opening this blog to anyone from 35 to 50 who can relate to me... single, independent, a music lover, maybe a good conversationalist but a little awkward since you rarely use the skill, and probably misunderstood too... I went to the movies alone yesterday. It was the opening day for 2012... what a movie! Can it be real, this 5000 year old Mayan prediction? Or has been way too many "cry wolves" about the end of the world for people to care anymore? Guess what I found today? While browsing the net, I found a brochure for a company called The Mataha Foundation that claims it is building an Ark, and they even have tickets on sales ~ for people our age tickets are going for 50 thousand Euros each, more for older folks and progressively less for younger folks, children and babies! Freaky isn't it? I wonder who might be interested in such tickets? Doomsday cult members? The rich? It's just amazing what people come up with these days...
